Symposium: Optimal Integration of the Advanced Practice Provider in a Sexual Medicine Practice

Moderators: Helen L. Bernie, DO, MPH and Mohit Khera, MD, MBA, MPH 

This will be a symposium for any physicians, APPs, nurses, and fellows interested in incorporating an APP into a sexual medicine practice. This symposium will detail specific resources that all sexual medicine APPs should be aware of to help with choosing the right practice for them, interviewing, networking, career advancement/leadership opportunities, educational opportunities, and additional training available. This will include advice from both physicians who have started up a Sexual Medicine practice and brought on APPs to join them as well as APPS who will give their experience and advice on being a Sexual Medicine provider. 

The symposium will be focused on optimal tips and advice for successful implementation of an APP into a Sexual Medicine practice that will be relevant to both the Physician and the APP.
